There is a dragon in me
full of murder. I feel its muscled tail
twitching at my coccyx,
its armored spikes erupting up my spine
puncturing my liver, my kidneys,
piercing through my thin, pink skin.

Its wings weave a leathery membrane
black and slick
from my wrist bones to my hips,
narrowing now for a reptile’s ravenous flight.

I am past conscience, unshackled
from the prefrontal cortex, its tiresome
ambiguities. I have no memory
of my mother’s name.

I keep grown men awake at night
as I sharpen my claws on the bones of their dead.

I could crush cities
with my hatred
and God himself would
not call me down.

Because I am not His messenger.
I am egg-hatched, an incinerating angel
of voracious rage. A mouth full of teeth.

Feed me.

Just thought I would leave you a general comment on here. One, your series of tasha is really nice! I've been wanting to do more portrait work myself. Also, early congratulations on the wedding Mrs. Heims! I have to ask, were you a nerd like me and took pictures of your wedding stuff before the wedding? I did, I set stuff up and took some shots :)

Thank you for the favorites as always, but what I am really here for is to tell you i checked out your portfolio on here. Its really good :) I am thinking about doing one myself, I really like the layout and I have been wanting to do something different with my site. Good work!

It's really simple to put together. The only complaint I have is that you can't fit ALL your work in it, but I suppose that's why it's a port; to show the best of your stuff. I highly recommend it. Send me a link when you set it up!

Will do, It will take a little bit to get done. I only get online every once in a while so it will be a process. I think I am going to use the portfolio more for my weddings and senior pictures.

Hey CJ its Kate. I love your site. Your lucky, I'de kill for a camera. To be honest I wanted to have a camera three or four years before moe, but alas, thats how things work out. Off subject, your pictures are beatifull, but I would expect nothing less from you :)

Thank you so much. I never knew you wanted a camera. If I had known that, I would have made Joanne give you her old camera of mine that I gave her (that went to Jessica and ultimately ended up broken anyways.) I'm sure you would have put it to better use. :(

Lol, I think I would have too. Yeah I wanted a camera way longer then moe, but shes the baby, so, ya know how it goes.
I'm hopeing if Joey gets a new one I can buy hers off of her, but I'm flat broke, and that dosen't look like its going to change anytime soon XD

I know, right? I've been putting in and calling on applications everywhere, but it seems like no one is hiring. It sucks. I'm getting tired of being broke also. :(
